Out with the neighbors.

Robert was at work; so I went to the game with my neighbors. How we decided to do this; I cannot recall.

Anyways, it was ten dollars to see the college kids play hockey. Maybe we should watch the game better, and not chatter the whole time.

Well, maybe that was me chattering.

I remembered my socks at least as had on sandals. We got to our seats and I was proud of myself for remembering. Mostly it’s the smell of the ice I like.

In hindsight, maybe my neighbors didn’t want to take the long snackbar break during the second period, but we did. Pizza and Beer and back to see the end of the game.

Don’t ask me who was playing besides our college or what the score was; I don’t know.

But I do like to add my two cents, and during the third period; we all decided the referee was blind. I cannot recall if it was a goal for whom, but my eyes said the puck did not completely cross the red line.

Anyway, this is what old people like to do. Mostly I was watching some photojournalist roam around the far side of the rink.

Amazing how they do that unnoticed. I put my camera away years ago; but every once in awhile still nostalgic for a darkroom that doesn’t exist.

Robert gets home about five today; so we’ll probably just go to the local pub tonight. I left one of the neighbors a message; if he wants to join us, we’ll be out after nine probably.
